The course is delivered entirely online through a theoretical yet interactive approach designed to foster active student participation and dynamic, engaging learning; it consists of a total of 8 fifty-minute sessions, organized in a progressive and structured manner; the instructional pathway draws upon a range of carefully selected and diversified materials, including texts, images, videos, podcasts, and interviews, supplemented by a reference glossary and targeted exercises aimed at developing both written and oral comprehension and production skills, with the objective of consolidating linguistic and cultural competencies in an organic and systematic way.

Course Content.

From the very first lessons, you will learn how to introduce yourself, greet others, talk about where you come from, and meet new people — all in Italian. You will explore the alphabet, correct pronunciation, and the distinctive sounds of the Italian language through enjoyable activities such as spelling games and digital dictations. Within a few weeks, you will already be able to use numbers, days, and months, talk about your age, and indicate a date or time. You will be able to describe your daily routine, talk about your family, describe people, and express likes and preferences in a simple yet effective way.

The course will also guide you through practical real-life situations such as going to a café, ordering at a restaurant, shopping for groceries, or asking for information in town, thanks to simulations and role-playing activities that will prepare you to use Italian in everyday life. You will learn how to talk about your home, hobbies, weather, and seasons.
